How did I get here?
I was a legal advisor to fashion legend Vivienne Westwood on the outside, but on the inside, I felt boxed in.
I felt like all of those years I had spent growing up in Singapore and exploring the continents had been thrown out of the window in the name of contracts, deals, and endless board meetings. Somehow, along the way, I had lost my creative spark, and I kept wondering if I would ever find it again. It definitely wasn’t beneath the pile of paperwork that constantly sat on my desk.
I realised I needed to jump off a cliff (metaphorically speaking, of course).
So I quit my job and moved to Bali to have an Eat, Pray, Love moment, and then got my Made in Capri sandals brand featured on Vogue Italia (that’s a story for another time).
Now, as a writer and copywriter, I help brands, business owners, and media platforms to publish sharp, interesting writing that speaks to those who are informed, curious, and globally-minded.

Stilla is a hospitality concept set to become the island's first albergo diffuso - or 'diffused hotel'. Comprising a collection of restored historical buildings in one of Malta's oldest hamlets, Stilla is an invitation to view the world a little more gently, a little more slowly.
We collaborate with the marketing team and founder to create copy for newsletter signup emails, blog posts, and Instagram content as part of the brand's phased launch.

New Order is a full-service creative studio and production company that is driven by curiosity and a collective obsession with every aspect of artistic expression.
We collaborated with the founders to write copy for its refreshed website, more specifically for its About and Bio pages, as well as its tagline 'Look Beyond'.

Three by Eva is a family-run restaurant, bakery and cafè that serves some of the best fare in Dubai. Much loved by Louis Vuitton’s editorial team, it has been included in their latest City Guide of the city.
We worked closely with its founders to write copy for pages of the beta version of its new website, which included the About and Masterclass Edition pages.

Altra is a natural fragrance brand rooted in its Profuture© vision - committed to creating with care, while conscious that the production cycle is inherently imperfect.
As part of the brand’s launch, we wrote several blog-style articles for ‘The Archives’ section of its website, and copy for the accompanying newsletter for each article release. Articles written include a Q+A with campaign photographer Zach Gold, an overview of Altra’s commitment towards Earth Day, and an outline of its unique fragrance-making process.

For over 6 seasons, we served as in-house English copywriter for luxury loungewear label Sleeper.
As part of the marketing team, we crafted and refined all English copy for the brand's website, social media accounts, and marketing materials, from the brand manifesto to individual product descriptions.
